There are no words...
I guess we have a family talent. I had to upload them large so you get the full effect! I'm so proud.

Refreshing!
My blog I mean, I got a blog makeover. Yes I am blogging about my blog. I finally got 3 columns and I LOVE it! I had so many things on the one side it was kind of getting rediculous! So now it's much better and I also am growing on the white blogs. I'm kind of getting tired of all the cute layouts, I can never decide and I haven't found one I love in a while so white it is! I have a few blogging friends who have white ones and they are just so clean and then I was thinking of making a cute header to give it some personality but this is what I came up with so far. It takes a lot of time! I kind of like it though. Anyways i'm sure i'll change it a million more times. Thanks to Angie for making it way easy to make it into 3 columns! Just to warn you though, when you redo it all your stuff on the sides will be deleted and you'll have to add it all over again. That was fun. Especially all 41 blogs I read! Well Kyla is pestering me to go shower, I guess I need it? Or she just likes her alone time when she can enjoy her tv without me or the babies. Well let me know what ya think? Should I keep the white or get some color? Not that you really care, but too bad tell me anyways. As i've said before I am VERY indecisive!

Happy Mothers Day!
Ok so I did this post with just pictures and as I thought about it I decided I wanted to add to it and write a little something about being a mom. I have so many words I could say and I just want to keep it simple.
I LOVE my job. I love my bosses and I have an amazing assistant manager to help me get through the harder days. I never imagined this is how my life would be. I never thought i'd end up with twins, yet alone have 3 girls in a row! I always said I would never want twins and even when my sister and I announced our prgnancies during Christmas I clearly remember her saying how she would love to have twins. My response was, "pfff I don't!" ha But the second I was told (1 week after Christmas) by the lady that I had twins in there I was, well first shocked but then I was so excited. We left the ultrasound with so much excitement and knew we had to make some changes in our life. I've always liked to be a little different than everyone else and this was just one more reason to be! Kyla is the sweetest little spirit and has such a soft heart. I love it how she will listen to me when I talk to her and I love how she will take any moment she can just to get her mom time in. I absolutely love these girls to death, you all know that. I have an incredible husband who helps me left and right with no asking or complaining while he does it. I even said how today didn't feel much different from any other day, which goes to show how awesome he is on a regular basis. It definately feels like Mothers Day everyday with him. I could go on forever but in short I honestly think i'm so blessed with the life I have and I can't wait to be the mother of maybe one or two more spirits (maybe a boy in there somewhere) ;) I love being a mom!
Here is today! Out of 50 pictures, these were the best!

Ps: i'm in the process of changing my blog, so it's not the best.

Weaning, oh goodness
Ok so I am starting to wean the babies from nursing and they are NOT taking it well. I tried weaning one nap at a time and we're down to two naps without and they are so fussy! Even one nap was hard and I tried just leaving them because people have said, if they are thirsty they'll drink it. But they don't really. I have the Nuby sippy cups for them with the milk and Presley drinks out of it better than Jayci. They both just kind of bite it and let it drip into their mouth so they don't really "drink" it, and they don't drink hardly anything. I am going to the store today to see if they have any other type of sippy cup that would work because I think these ones might come out a little too fast for them. They are the bigger ones that I used to give Kyla, so I want to see if they have a smaller version with handles or something that doesn't come out as fast. I've tried these ones and the littl Gerber ones with handles, which they can't quite figure out how to suck with the stopper for the "no drips" in it and if I take that out, I have milk EVERYWHERE. They also just don't seem to really want to drink it. I am so ready to be done nursing. I nursed two babies for almost a year! They will be a year old on the 27th and as most of you know that was my cutoff. They are just getting stronger and they rely so much on it to go to sleep etc. I am still having a hard time thinking i'm not going to be nursing my babies anymore. To me nursing has been a huge deal and I think it's because since I do have two babies at once it's hard to give a whole lot of attention to each of them, such as cuddles etc compared to when I had just Kyla and all my time and attention went just to her. I also have Kyla to give attention to also, so I think it's that special time I have been able to have with each of them in the day, just me and them. Kyla was 8 months old when I weaned her and she did great and took the bottle very well, so the transition to sippy cup was actually pretty easy for her. But I don't want to get these girls on a bottle and then have to wean them off that in a month. They also won't drink out of the bottle any better than a sippy cup so it's kind of pointless. I may as well just go straight to the sippy cup.
So what do I do? Does anyone have any great advice to get them to take the milk better or for the weaning process overall? Please help.

Park and lots more
It was a beautiful weekend so we took the kids to the park for the first time this spring and they loved it. I have a hard time going by myself during the day with the three of them so it was nice to have Dustin there. We might be making it an evening ritual, along with going on walks. We even had a little picnic.

My gorgeous Kyla, played and played forever. She was so happy.

Jayci left, Presley right

Presley
Jayci

I found Presley going nuts on something in her mouth the other day and I looked and she had a whole strawberry in her hand. She was sucking so hard on that thing! So I stuck her in the highchair and gave her some more. I usually cut it up or put it in the little fruit net thing. But she loved being able to bite it with her one tooth. The other one just cut through a few days ago so they're comin...finally.
Jayci, she had a death grip on my hand and trying to shove it in more.
Kyla wanted her picture taken of eating a strawberry too.
Presley with her dainty little bites. That's her!

This was how I found Presley, again. She ate an entire chocolate chip cookie! Thanks to Kyla for leaving the bag of them on the floor. My girls do not get sugar ever so she was lucky. (and in heaven!) Little stinker.
And this is Presley's new face she makes, all the time. We love it and think it's hilarious! She also breathes really fast out of her nose when she does it. Who's kid is this?? I guess Presley has done more lately, sorry Jayci! Although she has mastered the stairs, if I didn't tell you that yet. That's about it! Lots of pictures for ya, take it all in!

You Complete Me!
Aw, What an awesome title.
So as I was thinking about how I was going to post about our 5 year anniversary I came up with a few ideas. First was to be all cute and tell you all how much I love him and why... OR to be funny and make fun of him and everything I have to put up with and the funny things we do. Then I thought, NEITHER and to just put up a bunch of pictures of us from way back in the day. I had such a great time going through all our old school pictures. I had to dicipline myself to a few because I could of posted a ton! I also am going to make a bunch of facebook albums with pictures growing up and yes most of you are in them!! You are all going to hate me! Good times. Anyways back to the most important thing...Me, I mean US.
We had so much fun back then and we still have so much fun now. I do love him and that includes everything he makes me put up with! We have a great time together and laugh ALL the time! He is truly amazing, I am one lucky girl!
ps: I also decided I NEED a scanner. These are pictures of the pictures so really bad quality, and as I said before im way cuter than it makes me look! Oh I guess Dustin is too...
This was day 2 of grad, yep he was my date. How cute.
My Grad, look how little we were!
A really bad (blurry) picture of the best day of Dustins life!

I don't know
I was doing so good last week with my blogging, but this week...nothing. I don't really have anything to write, but I feel I need too. I also have a feeling this will be a "let it all out post". I know there are people out there that hate the blogging world for how personal it can get. I do have an amazing life and I never really have anything negative to write about. I like to try and look at the positive in everything, but trust me I do have my days. I'm not perfect. But to me this is my journal and I get a lot of comfort in writing. So too bad, this is me and my life and all the frustrations that come with it. (Today anyways) I am on the verge of tears with frustration, so I think writing about it will help. First of all I am a little annoyed with some glitches in my business that happened but hopefully i'm fixing it and things are smoothing out. I guess thats bound to happen when starting a new business. Second, well maybe second, third, fourth, and fifth, maybe even sixth! We just have had one thing after another going wrong, and all in one day! I try so hard to stay positive through tough situations but honestly i'm wearing out from being so strong all the time. Things are great with Dustin and I and we have gotten through some hard times before and I know we'll get through it this time. I think we are going to make some changes in our life, not drastic but it's definately time for a change. I honestly don't know what else to write. I'm blank and that's normally not me. I am going to hate myself for posting this because I hate being upset, especially sharing when I am with other people. I do love Dustin and my girls and they make my days insanely happy. I honeslty think everyone should be blessed with twins because it's amazing. And so many people say how having a toddler at the same time would be a handful, but I wouldn't of had it any other way! She is such a big helper and keeps these babies entertained when i'm tied up on the phone or cooking dinner. They are already so close.
Well I guess i'm done. I have no news, no pictures and i'm having a hard day. So i'll stop while i'm ahead. I love all of you who comment on my life, it's great to hear what you have to say about my crazyness. I do love my life SO much, I never thought it was possible to be this happy, to be this blessed with what I have.
I know this post makes no sense, but it makes sense to me and just to know someone is reading it makes me feel like i'm talking to others about my frustrations. It's kind of like therapy I guess!
aaaand, it could always be worse!

I'm on a roll!!
K, I was going to post this with the post this morning or wait until I do more but i'm excited to show you and it wasn't quite finished yet when I wrote the other post! So now you get two posts in one day (don't forget to read the other one!). Here is my new Home Decor letters I am making for my business. I made this one for my sister to go in their new livingroom. They are 22" big and they can come in any color scheme you want. Check out the website for more details and pricing. Go to The Burnt Daisy! I'll be adding more within the next week for you to see!

My Project and A Close Call
For a long time I have wanted to get a chalkboard for my kitchen. I am ALWAYS writing things down because I have the WORST memory! For real! Is there something you can eat to help with that? Seriously i'm really bad, so if you ever notice I forgot about you for something, don't take it personal. So I wanted something different and more fun/modern. so I have been looking online at some and I didn't want to spend $50 plus shipping and exchange which is all ridiculous. So I was in Staples here and I found a simple plain chalkboard for $19.95! So I decided to spruce it up in my own way.
Before
After! (click on it to see it better) Kyla drew a picture on the bottom if you can't tell. I know i'm an awesome artist but this time i'll give Kyla the credit...

So now for the close call. Dustin and I were getting the babies dressed for bed in the livingroom on the mainfloor last night and we sent Kyla upstairs to get some pj's for bed. She was upstairs and we heard the loudest bang and then Kyla freaking out. I said "Run Dustin!" (I was nursing Jayci) I set her down and went up and her dresser was tipped over and she was on the floor beside it. (Luckily!) She got out of the way just in time. But it scraped up her back before she got away. I took a picture but it doesn't show very good. She is so lucky. Her dresser is heavy and full of clothes! She was opening the bottom drawer, I knew that because of what shirt she had on the floor beside her and plus she showed us what she did. But we tried to pull a drawer open and rocked the dresser to see how sturdy it was and it didn't seem that easy to tip over. So we think it was too far away from the wall. Anyways we are so lucky she didn't get crushed! She is a scrony little skeleton so she would of had no chance. She was smart to move out of the way and one lucky little girl! It definately freaked me out too!
I also want to update on a few things too, more for me (to remember) lol. Both the babies are pulling themself to standing and even starting to "cruise." Jayci is now saying "dadda and mamma", and knowing what they mean. She even said "hi dad!" on Sunday morning! Seriously, I thought it was fluke but she kept copying me, like 10 times! Then she said it again to my sister later that day, so who knows! I think Presley is getting it too. They can both wave hi, which I love! I love the stage where they start to mimic you, Kyla was so good at that and I think that's why she learned how to talk well so early. Anyways those are the main things I wanted to update on. Also I am getting a lot of blogging in lately, I guess my life hasn't been as boring!

Adventures in the Venture! Right Arm!
Well my sister Brittany and her husband Jeff came this weekend to visit us and we had so much fun! They were married in December and are so cute, they are just so in love....newlyweds eh. ;) They came on Thursday and on Friday and Saturday the guys went hunting. Hunting season opened on Friday up here so they were pretty excited to get a bear and a wolf. Well they didn't have much luck. Poor guys, spent two full days trying to catch something and they were so determined. They saw some pretty huge tracks though, and a Linx, a deer, a bird, gophers, an old cooler. They did shoot the cooler though, they really wanted to shoot something so they pick that I guess! They think it may have been a little too early to go, but Dustin is sure anxious to get that bear. I'm sure he'll be going again. While the "manly" men were out doing their thing, Britt and I did what women do best and went shopping. I honestly didn't buy anything but it was so fun just to go to stores and walk around and see what I plan on buying one day. There isn't much shopping up here but just even walking around Superstore was fun. I also wanted to get Kyla's ears pierced as you all know but Claires couldn't do it because something was broken for about aweek or so, and nowhere else in the city will do it! We don't have a Merle Norman up here either, which would of been my first choice. So she was either too young or they didn't have anyone trained at the moment. GAY. I was dissapointed because Britt was so excited to come with me to do them. So I guess i'll try and get her in within the next couple weeks. So we had some fun sister time and some good Reba watching, she brought the last two seasons with her. I love that show. A lot of people told me that Dustin and I remind them of Van and Cheyenne from the show so my friend Shannon lent me the first two seasons so I could see why people say that and I was addicted. I'm so much smarter than her though! So anyways, Saturday night we had a date night and I can't remember a time when I laughed so much! We went out for dinner and then honestly drove around for like an hour and a half! We didn't want to go to a movie because we had been staying up until like 2am every night just talking and laughing and I wanted to enjoy as much time with them as we could so sleep was not our priority. Anyways so we were already on lack of sleep so sitting in a dark movie theater would just knock us all out plus we wanted to visit. The only other thing was bowling and we didn't really feel like bowling. There was no way I was coming home at 8pm when we had a sitter, so we just drove around! Who knew it could be so fun, we just laughed and laughed. (Britt said it was like high school when you'd drive around for hours just trying to decide what to do and then realize it was curfew and go home!) Dustin would cruise the "dowtown strip" as we called it and it was awesome! Dustin decided to pull into the car dealership to see the vehicles, and the dealership is like two blocks long and all along the main road the cars are parked in the parking lot. We really want to get a new vehicle but we have been so diciplined and putting our priorities straight (only responsible people do that) and have made this van last, and we hate it. One thing after another keeps breaking on it, it's awesome. Both front windows won't roll up if you roll them down (which was perfect in the -25C weather while driving across the city) Dustin keeps hoping that one of these horrible Fort Mac drivers will hit him one day while driving it (without the kids in it of course) Anyways we have been having lots of problems with it. So does anyone want to buy a van? lol Well back to our adventurous night. Dustin noticed a spot where a car was gone so he took advataged to try and sell our van, so he pulled in. It was hilarious, he also pulled out further than the other cars so ours would be noticed better. We are honestly laughing to the point of crying because Dustin would just do these random things while we drove around. So here we are in our 2003 Chevy Venture in a row of brand new cars, let me give you a visual... oh and click on the pictures to see how awesome we make the van look, it was all part of the sale. (Blonde not included...but take the tall one if you want)

So after our crazy "adventures in the Venture" as we called it, we finally decided to give in and come home and hang out and also had a blast playing games and having so much fun. Sunday we went to church and I got to show them why we love it here. They couldn't believe how nice everyone was and how many fun young families are in our ward. We honestly have no old people! It's crazy. But so many fun young couples and we have made some great friends here. We also took them out to Syncrude (one of the big plants up here) to see the big machinery out there. They thought that was pretty cool. On the way back Britt and I sat in the very back, because there isn't much room with all the carseats so I let Jeff sit upfront. So we had a photo shoot with her camera, which was another laugh fest for us. She'll have to post the pictures on her blog because I don't have them, but we got some gooders. Other than that we just had so much fun and made a crap load of memories. Oh and about the title, Dustin works with some awesome guys like himself and they say "Right arm!" instead of "right on!" aren't they so cool! These smart husbands that go to work everyday and work so hard to come up with such brilliant slogans for us to use in our daily dialogue. So it became one of our regular sayings for the weekend, got some good laughs out of that too. So We made the best of every minute and it was great how much closer we got to be as sisters. We also realized how much we are alike! So much more than we ever thought! She was a great help with the kids and they loved Uncle Jeff. We had late nights and early mornings (thanks to the kids) and I can't wait until they come up again!
The guys before hunting, Dustin didn't want to grab his hunting coat but wanted to show all his camo, so he lifted up his shirt instead. They are so cool.
out at dinner, the lighting is so gross in the restaraunt and not the best angle of me. We are cuter than in makes us look, but you all know that ;)
