Trip to Emergency

I don't know what's wrong with me but it feels like every time I have to go to the hospital, it's in the middle of the night. So this past week I got UTI (urinary tract infection) and I read that it could go away on it's own with lots of water, cranberry juice and keeping your bladder empty. But after a few days if it doesn't go away to go to the doctor. I had one a couple months ago and it went away by itself so I figured this one would. Well today was the day I was actually going to go see the doctor but I think I waited a little too long. I went to bed with a little pain in my back under my ribs on the right side. But almost just felt like a knot or something. I woke up at 1:30am and had to go to the bathroom and the pain in my back was a little worse, well I figured I'd go to sleep and it go away. Literally 8 minutes later I was moaning in excruciating pain! I was going to throw up and pass out at the same time. Nothing made it feel better and it was getting worse by the second! I honestly think labour was better! At least the contractions stop for a couple minutes! So we called Jill, thank goodness Travis is off for a few days, and she came right over. I couldn't even walk it hurt so bad. So ends up I had a kidney infection, which I kind of figured it was, and they gave me 3 different antibiotics right away and some wicked painkillers. I don't even know what they were called, it started with a P. Prim...something. Anyways we were in and out in 2 hours by the time the whole IV went through me. It still hurts a little, just sore to touch. Man I hate having problems.

So I think I learned my lesson on waiting and maybe it's better to go to the doctor right away. I just hate having to book an appointment and find someone to watch the kids etc etc. So I usually just hope and pray that I get better on my own. Thank goodness for painkillers though! Oh and of course Jill! Thank you so much, you saved me!

I woke up to this...

I totally forgot to share this awesome moment. This was last Saturday, Dustin let me sleep on the couch after the girls woke up at 5:30am. I felt so sick that day but he had to go to work at 9:00 so I let him sleep for an hour at 8. Does that make sense? Anyways I didn't "quite" wakeup to take care of the kids. Well I woke up to the phone ringing and this is what I saw...

Kyla decided to feed the girls some yogurt! There were 4 open containers empty on the table....awesome. At least they let me sleep! How can you not laugh! Their eyes were like stuck shut with yogurt! I need to stop falling asleep and take care of my kids eh.

Don't tell Dustin!!!

Do you see a difference??
Well after 2 hours, a lot of bribing, $65 in Claire's accessories, and a lot of frustration, we finally got Kyla's ears pierced! and I learned one thing... make sure two people do it at the same time! I called earlier today and she told me they could do it today and I heard her talking to another girl at the store so I "assumed" there was going to be 2 people. Well I got there and only one of them does the piercings and the manager is out of town for over a week. I hauled all 3 kids down there so I was not leaving without them done! We got one done, she was so excited about it and really good until it happened. Then she cried and was not letting the other one get done. I knew it. Then I tried bribing her with stuff and she had it all picked out and finally after an hour and a half of convincing, I held her on my lap and she gave me a hug and the girl did it super fast. Poor girls hands were shaking the entire time cuz I think she was so nervous! Good test for her! She did great though and Kyla loves them! They are pink of course, what else.

Pink flowers, they look so cute on her.

Her loot. Dora purse (which she calls her diaper bag) and Dora sunglasses. Oh and 5 suckers from the Claires lady. I think she was even getting desperate.

I don't think Dustin will really care, but I wanted to surprise him and give him no choice! It'll be a welcome home gift for him. He'll love it. I'm so smart.

Kyla's "day surgery"

It sounds worse than it was. She had to get some dental work done on some cavities but they do it at the hospital here in day surgery. She doesn't have very strong teeth so she is prone to cavities easily. She did so well. Except she didn't want to put the hospital gown on, that was a fight. She won that fight and they didn't care, they just changed her after she was out. They had to put her out to do them, so they take her away of course screaming because we can't come. Wrap her in a blanket and put the mask on to knock her out. Then they give her an IV. I think it was all of 15 seconds we heard her screaming for. We couldn't stay so I took Dustin to work since it was 8am and I went to wal-mart a block away. It took over an hour to do. I came back and she came out about 10 minutes after I got there. She did pretty good waking up, she threw up a couple times, but that's normal. She's doing great now and loves her sparkly teeth! She had to get 8 fillings!! No more sugar for this girl! He even put a few sealants on some other teeth too protect them better. Anyways here are some pics of her first trip to the hospital.

Before. Super excited and has no idea whats coming! All she knows is she is getting sparkly teeth like Emma!

After. waking up still.
Still pretty drowsy.

Rude Comments

If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. I have my blog visible to others to read because I know I have friends and family that miss out on our life. If you read something on my blog and don't agree with it, then leave. I really hope it wasn't one of my friends or a regular reader of my blog. This is my blog and my life so please to not criticize it.

Random stuff

I find it's so hard to blog lately, maybe it's because not too many people are since it's summer. We are here for another few weeks then we are off the Penticton to do some a tent....with 3 little kids. Should be fun. I really am excited just not for the night part. I will just expect to get no sleep going into it and maybe a great tan that will make up for it!
We took the kids to the park on Saturday and then went in the field with Kyla and played with her baseball and bat, and then took her to the basketball hoops that have the 3 holes at the school. She had a ton of fun and then we had to beat the rain home. Honestly I felt like I was a kid again, we even played on everything with her. Who said being a parent has to be boring. I was all over it! I was even going to attemp the flip off the swing. Maybe next time. ;)

Presley swingin

and a few minutes later...I guess she really enjoyed it
Jayci loved it. Cutest picture too!

Things have been going good, I am getting busier with my business so lets hope it keeps up! I am really thinking after summer I am going to get really busy with Christmas not too far off. I just added some new fonts also and I might be adding more, so you can go check them out and let me know what you think.
What else, oh how can I forget the saddest day of Dustin's life. I never gave you the update of our tv. Well the day after it died Dustin gave it a good beating, and it turned on! Crap. Well he was so excited. I went another week with that beast and it was one frustrating week. Dustin set up our car dvd player so we didn't have to hook up all our speakers with our other one and it wouldn't reach the top of the tv so it had to be on the floor. Well the kids were all over that. Open. Close. Open. Close. Soon it started skipping so they probably wrecked that. Awesome. We just bought it last summer too. Hopefully it's fine. I gave Dustin a week to get rid of it and to call the people who gave it to us. She said to not get rid of it and she wanted to make it into a puppet theater. Well he never called and kept making excuses and putting it off. So Sunday I told him he had until Monday to get rid of it or I will. I think he thought I was joking. I called the lady and she said no they already go another tv exactly like this one but a little older! lol I definately had to laugh at that. So I went on and put it on for free! Here was my ad,

FREE 52" TV!- Come and get it ASAP and don't tell my husband ;) It's around 10 years old and works pretty good. NEEDS TO GO!

I got at least 3 replies in 10 minutes. One person e-mailed me to call them, so I did and they weren't home. Just their weird son who was rude so I didn't like them. The next girl sounded way too excited to get this thing. So I wrote her back saying I had a couple other people who wanted it and I explained everything about it. She wrote back saying she would give me $50 to let her have it! SOLD! Who knew anyone would want to PAY for this thing. She wanted to surprise her husband with it. So I called her and told her it shuts of and can go in double vision etc. She said her husband fixes anything and he would die if she had a huge tv like this. I never lied about a thing! Promise. Well she came about an hour later with her guy friend and his truck and it was OUTTA HERE! I called Dustin when she offered to pay and you know what he said? He said, see if anyone else will pay more! lol Then he came home and saw it gone. I think I even saw a tear. Ha no but he was sad to see it gone. I told him I was going to get rid of it! So it's gone and I am happy. Thank you for those who prayed for me through this tough time, I am way better now. Oh and get this!! She called and it's not working!!! lol So I told her all the tricks but she felt bad for even asking and didn't want to be a bother. I put it free for a reason people! She was good about it though and had to wait for her husband to get home to "try" and fix it. He also called me later aha. They honestly felt bad for even calling. I felt bad they paid me $50! Meh, their loss. I'm so mean, maybe they'll get it fixed.....i'll pray for them.

A promise is a promise!

We promised Kyla that on Sunday it would be HER day and that Dustin would take her out to ride her bike. So we kept that promise, and took her in the pouring rain! We bought it last year but she wasn't quite strong enough to push the pedals so it sat in our basement waiting for her, and she constantly has wanted to ride it since.
The video was the very beginning of them outside, they were out there for over an hour! She was crusin by the time she came back. Her hands were also numb, but she loved every minute and freaked when we made her come in. But we bribed her with a big bubble bath and then she was happy.

Also don't forget to visit my site to see my latest orders. There is still a few in the making. I have been so busy right now and I am loving every minute of it!
Here is one of them which I love!
