ok, i'm embracing it

I saw on this blog a while ago a thing called "embrace the camera", where the moms are challenged to get in front of the camera instead of always behind it. I loved it and I love seeing pictures of my mom friends (yes i'm talking to you) on their blogs so why not take my own advice. I don't think i've been in a picture since Laken's been born that is "worthy" enough to be shown. You know how it goes. So I think everyone should do it, that way our kids know we actually existed.

I love this little girl so much.
By the way I have to brag, she slept 11 hours the other night! ELEVEN! and on the average she sleeps 8-10 every night!
We are blessed.

What a great idea. I actually wish I was in more pictures with my kids but it's hard to accomplish sometimes. You're looking great!

I've been trying to be better at being in the pictures too, lately. Love the pic of you and Laken!

You do look so good Mindy! And thats great that Laken is sleeping so long. I hear that's rare... I probably shouldn't read about other babies sleeping so long because now I think my expectations are a bit high...

How do you get your little girl to sleep so long? Mine is one week younger and is no where near that. Is she awake most of the day?

Hi Nicole,
I can't view your blog so hopefully you can see my response here!
I honestly have no idea how she sleeps through the night, and no she sleeps a lot during the day too! We are just super lucky I guess!

Hey Mindy, this is super late, but I wanted to thank you for your nice comment about Boston's Laundry Lair. Seriously every comment has made me feel so much better! I can't believe people thought you were making the ages of your kids up!!!! People are seriously insane. Your kids are darling and so are their names!!
