Trip to Emergency

I don't know what's wrong with me but it feels like every time I have to go to the hospital, it's in the middle of the night. So this past week I got UTI (urinary tract infection) and I read that it could go away on it's own with lots of water, cranberry juice and keeping your bladder empty. But after a few days if it doesn't go away to go to the doctor. I had one a couple months ago and it went away by itself so I figured this one would. Well today was the day I was actually going to go see the doctor but I think I waited a little too long. I went to bed with a little pain in my back under my ribs on the right side. But almost just felt like a knot or something. I woke up at 1:30am and had to go to the bathroom and the pain in my back was a little worse, well I figured I'd go to sleep and it go away. Literally 8 minutes later I was moaning in excruciating pain! I was going to throw up and pass out at the same time. Nothing made it feel better and it was getting worse by the second! I honestly think labour was better! At least the contractions stop for a couple minutes! So we called Jill, thank goodness Travis is off for a few days, and she came right over. I couldn't even walk it hurt so bad. So ends up I had a kidney infection, which I kind of figured it was, and they gave me 3 different antibiotics right away and some wicked painkillers. I don't even know what they were called, it started with a P. Prim...something. Anyways we were in and out in 2 hours by the time the whole IV went through me. It still hurts a little, just sore to touch. Man I hate having problems.

So I think I learned my lesson on waiting and maybe it's better to go to the doctor right away. I just hate having to book an appointment and find someone to watch the kids etc etc. So I usually just hope and pray that I get better on my own. Thank goodness for painkillers though! Oh and of course Jill! Thank you so much, you saved me!

I woke up to this...

I totally forgot to share this awesome moment. This was last Saturday, Dustin let me sleep on the couch after the girls woke up at 5:30am. I felt so sick that day but he had to go to work at 9:00 so I let him sleep for an hour at 8. Does that make sense? Anyways I didn't "quite" wakeup to take care of the kids. Well I woke up to the phone ringing and this is what I saw...

Kyla decided to feed the girls some yogurt! There were 4 open containers empty on the table....awesome. At least they let me sleep! How can you not laugh! Their eyes were like stuck shut with yogurt! I need to stop falling asleep and take care of my kids eh.

Don't tell Dustin!!!

Before:

After:

Do you see a difference??
Well after 2 hours, a lot of bribing, $65 in Claire's accessories, and a lot of frustration, we finally got Kyla's ears pierced! and I learned one thing... make sure two people do it at the same time! I called earlier today and she told me they could do it today and I heard her talking to another girl at the store so I "assumed" there was going to be 2 people. Well I got there and only one of them does the piercings and the manager is out of town for over a week. I hauled all 3 kids down there so I was not leaving without them done! We got one done, she was so excited about it and really good until it happened. Then she cried and was not letting the other one get done. I knew it. Then I tried bribing her with stuff and she had it all picked out and finally after an hour and a half of convincing, I held her on my lap and she gave me a hug and the girl did it super fast. Poor girls hands were shaking the entire time cuz I think she was so nervous! Good test for her! She did great though and Kyla loves them! They are pink of course, what else.

Pink flowers, they look so cute on her.

Her loot. Dora purse (which she calls her diaper bag) and Dora sunglasses. Oh and 5 suckers from the Claires lady. I think she was even getting desperate.

I don't think Dustin will really care, but I wanted to surprise him and give him no choice! It'll be a welcome home gift for him. He'll love it. I'm so smart.

Kyla's "day surgery"

It sounds worse than it was. She had to get some dental work done on some cavities but they do it at the hospital here in day surgery. She doesn't have very strong teeth so she is prone to cavities easily. She did so well. Except she didn't want to put the hospital gown on, that was a fight. She won that fight and they didn't care, they just changed her after she was out. They had to put her out to do them, so they take her away of course screaming because we can't come. Wrap her in a blanket and put the mask on to knock her out. Then they give her an IV. I think it was all of 15 seconds we heard her screaming for. We couldn't stay so I took Dustin to work since it was 8am and I went to wal-mart a block away. It took over an hour to do. I came back and she came out about 10 minutes after I got there. She did pretty good waking up, she threw up a couple times, but that's normal. She's doing great now and loves her sparkly teeth! She had to get 8 fillings!! No more sugar for this girl! He even put a few sealants on some other teeth too protect them better. Anyways here are some pics of her first trip to the hospital.

Before. Super excited and has no idea whats coming! All she knows is she is getting sparkly teeth like Emma!

After. waking up still.
Still pretty drowsy.

Rude Comments

If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. I have my blog visible to others to read because I know I have friends and family that miss out on our life. If you read something on my blog and don't agree with it, then leave. I really hope it wasn't one of my friends or a regular reader of my blog. This is my blog and my life so please to not criticize it.

Random stuff

I find it's so hard to blog lately, maybe it's because not too many people are since it's summer. We are here for another few weeks then we are off the Penticton to do some camping....in a tent....with 3 little kids. Should be fun. I really am excited just not for the night part. I will just expect to get no sleep going into it and maybe a great tan that will make up for it!
We took the kids to the park on Saturday and then went in the field with Kyla and played with her baseball and bat, and then took her to the basketball hoops that have the 3 holes at the school. She had a ton of fun and then we had to beat the rain home. Honestly I felt like I was a kid again, we even played on everything with her. Who said being a parent has to be boring. I was all over it! I was even going to attemp the flip off the swing. Maybe next time. ;)

Presley swingin

and a few minutes later...I guess she really enjoyed it
Jayci loved it. Cutest picture too!

Things have been going good, I am getting busier with my business so lets hope it keeps up! I am really thinking after summer I am going to get really busy with Christmas not too far off. I just added some new fonts also and I might be adding more, so you can go check them out and let me know what you think.
What else, oh how can I forget the saddest day of Dustin's life. I never gave you the update of our tv. Well the day after it died Dustin gave it a good beating, and it turned on! Crap. Well he was so excited. I went another week with that beast and it was one frustrating week. Dustin set up our car dvd player so we didn't have to hook up all our speakers with our other one and it wouldn't reach the top of the tv so it had to be on the floor. Well the kids were all over that. Open. Close. Open. Close. Soon it started skipping so they probably wrecked that. Awesome. We just bought it last summer too. Hopefully it's fine. I gave Dustin a week to get rid of it and to call the people who gave it to us. She said to not get rid of it and she wanted to make it into a puppet theater. Well he never called and kept making excuses and putting it off. So Sunday I told him he had until Monday to get rid of it or I will. I think he thought I was joking. I called the lady and she said no they already go another tv exactly like this one but a little older! lol I definately had to laugh at that. So I went on mymcmurray.com and put it on for free! Here was my ad,

FREE 52" TV!- Come and get it ASAP and don't tell my husband ;) It's around 10 years old and works pretty good. NEEDS TO GO!

I got at least 3 replies in 10 minutes. One person e-mailed me to call them, so I did and they weren't home. Just their weird son who was rude so I didn't like them. The next girl sounded way too excited to get this thing. So I wrote her back saying I had a couple other people who wanted it and I explained everything about it. She wrote back saying she would give me $50 to let her have it! SOLD! Who knew anyone would want to PAY for this thing. She wanted to surprise her husband with it. So I called her and told her it shuts of and can go in double vision etc. She said her husband fixes anything and he would die if she had a huge tv like this. I never lied about a thing! Promise. Well she came about an hour later with her guy friend and his truck and it was OUTTA HERE! I called Dustin when she offered to pay and you know what he said? He said, see if anyone else will pay more! lol Then he came home and saw it gone. I think I even saw a tear. Ha no but he was sad to see it gone. I told him I was going to get rid of it! So it's gone and I am happy. Thank you for those who prayed for me through this tough time, I am way better now. Oh and get this!! She called and it's not working!!! lol So I told her all the tricks but she felt bad for even asking and didn't want to be a bother. I put it free for a reason people! She was good about it though and had to wait for her husband to get home to "try" and fix it. He also called me later aha. They honestly felt bad for even calling. I felt bad they paid me $50! Meh, their loss. I'm so mean, maybe they'll get it fixed.....i'll pray for them.

A promise is a promise!

We promised Kyla that on Sunday it would be HER day and that Dustin would take her out to ride her bike. So we kept that promise, and took her in the pouring rain! We bought it last year but she wasn't quite strong enough to push the pedals so it sat in our basement waiting for her, and she constantly has wanted to ride it since.
The video was the very beginning of them outside, they were out there for over an hour! She was crusin by the time she came back. Her hands were also numb, but she loved every minute and freaked when we made her come in. But we bribed her with a big bubble bath and then she was happy.

Also don't forget to visit my site to see my latest orders. There is still a few in the making. I have been so busy right now and I am loving every minute of it!
Here is one of them which I love!

The weekend

These are just random pictures of this weekend. Dustin cleaned up our basement and brought a swing upstairs that a friend lent us so that we could return it. The girls were all over it. They have a thing for climbing on each other lately.

Jayci loved the swing a lot...I guess it brought back the times of sleeping in the swings. I know i'd be out cold if I could lay in a swing.

I know we were a little late on getting the carseats but Presley wasn't even 20lbs so I wasn't too concerned, even though they are one already. I just put it off I guess, besides the ones we wanted were out of stock forever so we just got these ones last weekend because I didn't want to wait any longer. But here they are and we love them!

This weekend I was exhausted, like really exhausted. I even started running and I went on Saturday morning at 6am with some girls, and I was wiped after! I couldn't even function so I decided to lay down on the couch and of course I fell asleep. I tried to fight it but I told Kyla to get the babies some cheerios, but only a few... well I woke up to this...

Let's get a closer look shall we, oh and I love Kyla in the picture. She has to be in every picture so she jumped in at the last second. It was worth it eh?

We also went boating Saturday afternoon for the rest of the day with our friends on their boat. It was cold, really cold. Well it was nice for a couple hours but then it wasn't so hot, it was only about 20C and that is not hot enough for me especially with the water up here. I was a wus and got in the water to go wakeboarding and froze to my bones and got right out. I didn't even have then energy to pull myself up cuz I was so frozen! I am a baby and I HATE being cold. Besides it was like 8pm at that time! That's not exactly the hottest time of the day!

This is the best picture of Dustin I could get. I wanted to get one of his flips so bad but the camera delayed way to long EVERY time. Stupid camera, he also got way more air than this but this is the only picture of his jumps, so i'll have to try again next time. Thanks Jeff and Chelsie!

Tired girl

I was making my letters at the kitchen table and Kyla was falling asleep on the floor watching a movie. I don't like to let her fall asleep or else she stays up until like 10:00. So I bribed her with a freezee to wake her up, so here she is eating it...

THIS is luxury

Dustin did a side job for a guy in our ward and the night he finished he called me from his house and asked me this question, "Do we want cash or a 52" flat screen TV?" I said "For real? cash!" We have never been into the whole electronic/technology stuff. We don't really care about HD, or blueray or big tv's and we don't own any gaming systems. (and never will, maybe a Wii cuz it keeps the kids active at least and its fun) We do want to upgrade to nice 42" tv, but not right now. We bought our 32" when we got married and it's been fine so far.
SO, he came home and the guy was going to drop off the money and told us we can have the tv also. I was a little hesitant cuz I hate second hand stuff, not that i'm stuck up in that way but most of the time things break down and it's better to buy it new in the first place. Although we have had some good stuff given to us. Besides why would he just give it to us even though Dustin chose the money? So in Dustin hauled our beauty. Here are the amazing features that came with it (don't get too jealous now!)

-I no longer need to worry about adding cute decor to our empty area because it takes up the entire wall
-It tells you when you have been watching too much tv! It just shuts right off! smart.
-We don't need to go to the theater cuz this thing is huge and you can see it from any angle of the house
-And get this, it's got the 3D built right into it! You don't even need those special glasses! It comes a goes though so we have to enjoy it while it's on. It's a teaser!
-Last but not least, last night I went to turn it on and it clicked on for half a second and then shut right off. It died! A week of pure bliss and now it's over. HALLELUAH!! Off to the dump we go...Now please give me back my TV.

I didn't even take the time to clean it, I guess I have some sort of "gift". I knew it wouldn't last long, I hate it when i'm right. Dang eh.
Oh and thats our tv on the floor, just for comparison....So does anyone want a tv? We won't charge you lots. Promise.

oh there is a great giveaway on mormon mommy blogs go check it out!

Best friends and Summer!

Kyla and Emma are 3 weeks apart in age and are different in every way but they sure love eachother. They definately have had a love hate relationship over the past year but lately they have been so close and love to play with eachother. It's so cute when she asks to play with her or if she is coming to the park when we go. We have done quite a bit with them lately. It's so nice to have family up here and i'm so glad they are planning on staying 10 more years. I tell ya Fort Mcmurray is like crack, it's addicting! Except they get to build a house! While i'm stuck in my townhouse, which is cute i'm not complaining but we are outgrowing it....fast. I told her i'll just live through her while I help her make all the decisions on colors, flooring, decorating... everything I would give my life for to do! I will get my house someday, and in the meantime I guess it's a bonus I get to see what I do and don't want in our house when we build.
Anyways, we bought a pool for Jayci and Presley for their birthday so we set it up and Kyla loves it. I haven't even took the babies in it yet! I usually go out with Kyla while they nap, it's just easier that way so I don't have 3 drowing children!
So the other night I was just chillin around doing nothing, (i'm good it) and I walked into my kitchen and looked out my kitchen window and found the entire neighbourhood of kids playing in our pool! What the! I went out and kicked em out. A few hours later I hear voices coming from the backyard "So this is your friends house?".... "ya, it is" A few of the kids decided to return and bring some more friends and thought it be okay to play in the pool again, I wasn't so nice this time, I even made a kid cry! aha oops. I have a problem with the kids in our little community and I was not having it become a community pool.... UNLESS....I could charge... $5 per kid to swim for about 10 minutes! It's like working from home! But I don't have to do anything! Maybe I will get to build my house....
Anyways here are the pictures.

We have a weekly mom and tots group in the ward and this week was at the spray park, it was a great turn out!

Mostly everyone, some left a little earlier

Presley all worn out, and the only picture I got of either of them. I know bad mom. Next time.

I got Jayci and Presley's one year and Kyla's 3 year pictures done all at once and I am so glad I did. We did have to go twice because of weather but man it was worth it!! These are some of my favorites. I seriously could put all of them on here!! Trust me there were way more! Thank you so much Mackenzie!! I love you!

This picture is priceless, it reminds me of the olden days where they couldn't smile, it's awesome!
