I'm the best wife

Yes yes I am.
So as you all know we are going away next weekend for our little getaway. Since Valentines Day is on Sunday, Dustin will be working till 9:00 at night. So we decided that we aren't going to celebrate it that day but we'll do it in Edmonton. We have never been the cheesy romantic type, but we do little things here and there for eachother, such as little notes or messages etc. Stuff like that.
One year for him I cut out a ton of pink and red paper hearts and plastered the main house wall with them and on each one I had a different reason why I loved him. After about 10 I got stuck and couldn't think of anymore, so I just wrote the same stuff over on the rest of the hearts.
Just kidding. Wouldn't that be funny though?
He also one year put rose petals all over the house leading the the bedroom and plasterd the bed with candy flowers and stuff. It was cute.

So I need your help to come up with some fun, or cute, or crazy ideas on what I can do for him this weekend. Think hard. I know only the good friends will help me out, so....no pressure.

I guess I kinda love this guy

Get a sexy outfit for you and then put a dance together for him, (Throw in your own creative things to make it personal for you guys) don't forget to to have the sprizter or sprinkling cider with some chocolates, you could also throw in a massage. ;) They have some massage candles at Chatters Salon downtown, if you haven't ever tried them before, let me tell you they are awesome!!! You the light the candle and as it melts it turns into message oil that you can either pour out or spoon out. Anyway you get the idea, I don't need to tell you were to go from there ;) haha You'll come up with something fun.

Ha! I liked the 2nd commenter! That's funny. I have no idea. Because the baby will be here in 3 weeks (maybe less), I'm not in the romantic/mushy mood, sorry!!

i wish I was smart, cause Shon is the one that is always doing fun stuff for me, and I always have a stupor of thought at it! Shon did do the 12 months of marriage for me, so I would wake up to different things, like " on the first month of marriage my husband gave to me..." (I dont remember what it was, but you get the hint, maybe you could do the 14 days of valentines, although that wouldnt work, cause the 1st of the month is gone, but you could be creative....just an idea, cause I didnt want you to think I wasnt your true friend! ha

I agree with Sarah! That's what Dean and I have done for each other and it's pretty good. In fact, every year it's a "raise the bar" kind of thing now. Not only is a CD made of songs.......but there is a hidden message behind each one of those songs.

For example.....the title of a song could mean something to JUST the two of you......a place in time.....a moment something was said. etc.

Or......... each title of a song would S-P-E-L-L out something. A new message that you wanted to share with him.

For example, Dean took each title song for me last year and made a poem. He added a couple of words to each title and put all the songs in an order that created a poem or verse for me.

So cute!

Have fun!

You guys could go get massages together. They have a nice place in WEM that does massages. Also, there's nothing better than going to the temple together. You gotta take advantage of that if you can while you don't have kids. Which hotel are you staying in? You should book one at the fantasyland hotel that has a hot tub. (they have mirrors all around them! Fun!!) That's all I got. We're not cheesy romantic either. Have fun whatever you do!!!

Oh "Purnells Making Memories" stole my idea! Ha! There are two things that men LOVE for Valentine's Day, and that is lingerie and .... well I won't say the second thing because I think you can guess!. So go with that!!!! Bypass all the lovey dovey, mushy gushy stuff! Ha! That's the only thing I can think of!

I suck at Valentine's day stuff and being creative so I'm sorry I can't be of any help. I think I'm just going to steal some of the ideas on here...
