oh it's great to be a mom!!

Ok I have to share this story. I have been debating to blog about it but lately I have been going insane. Have I had it too easy and now I am being challenged?? Well last week I had a screaming hungry baby so I picked her up and fed her on the couch. Well Kyla told me she had to pee, and it was only a week into her potty training. So I told her to run in and she knows what to do, she never has done it by herself so I was crossing my fingers she would get it. So I can see the bathroom from sitting on the couch so I just talked her through it and really she didn't even need my help. Until it came to wiping so still feeding the baby I went into the bathroom and wiped her and helped her get her pants back on. Well since I was feeding I didn't empty her potty yet, I figured I'd do it after I finished feeding the baby....Well here's the best part of the story! Before Kyla was potty trained she would use her potty as a stool all over the house and she would carry it anywhere she wanted to see. So...I looked up and what was she doing?? Picking up her potty, but it was tipped towards her as she was holding it and she came walking into the livingroom with it, and a pee trail following her!!! She was dumping pee everywhere!!! I screamed," KYLA!! STOP!!! put it down!! ughhh!!!! gross!" Pee was everywhere, on the floor and my carpet. great eh! Well I just finished feeding the baby and now I had to scrub my carpet. Ya sick. So that was a fun time. Then just now, in the middle of writing this stupid post I noticed Kyla pooping but in her panties. She has had a hard time pooping in the potty so I really didn't care cuz I have had a hard day and didn't want to fight with her to go on the potty. Well I just walked into the bathroom and she took the poop herself and put it into the potty with her hands!!!! She was flushing it herself! What a big girl eh!!!!!!!! oh my goodness. I know this post is umm well, gross but I just had to share about my wonderful child I have. Today has been a great day and I needed to vent even if it's just to write about anything. I love blogging, it's kind of like a journal and I mostly do it for myself but i'm glad to hear people are reading about my awesomly wonderful life!!!! I really do love it but it's just so funny sometimes, oh it's great to be a mom!!

I'm so glad I caught this picture, this is Kyla "feeding" her baby!!! haha

oh the good ol' potty training stories. don't feel bad Camden did the same with his poop, except he played with it, caroline saw him and said what are you doing? he said i put my poop in the dump truck and now i'm picking it up with my excavator! ewww. that was a mess, then i saw him taking taylor's dolly and breastfeeding it, man that was funny. even funnier cause he's a boy, when i pointed it out he was yelling "no" he didn't want anyone to know. ha ha kids are funny, good thing you write it down, so you can remember. ok this was a loooooong post! sorry ;)

Oh geez, thanks Chrissy for sharing that. Yes, I remember Camden had a hard time learning the whole poop on the potty thing. He peed all the time on the potty, but it took at least 2 months for him to learn to also poop on the potty. So he was finally all potty trained by 2 and a half years old, which I thought was really old, well maybe not for a boy I guess. He used to poop in his underwear while in the bonus room playing, and then it would fall out of his underwear and he thought it was mud/dirt, so he would scoop it up with his dump truck like Chrissy said. He seriously didn't clue into the fact that it was his poop! Picture trying to bleach and sterilize dump trucks full of poop! Now let me tell you that was sick! It's funny how kids at that age can't really tell that poop is something that is gross and not very hygienic. Well I loved your story. It was so funny! It's good to laugh about these things as moms. Kyla looks so grown up! She's adorable! It sounds like you are doing a fine job of being a mommy! Miss you!

HAHAHAHA, What to say...Some days are just not as great as others. I always say that I now know why my mom was always crazy!! and when my kids grow up and call me crazy I can blame it all on them!! In all honesty though..If I could go back to those days of little kids there are sometimes I would in a heart beat...but most days not so much. My oldest is 11 and my youngest is almost 4 and I LOVE it!! But the pre teens....hmmmm, not sure what to make of that yet. And I was the mom who thought my kids would never be like that!...well guess what.....lollololol. Oh well...when they say enjoy those times its true, they grow so fast. And one day you will laugh at this story, because it really is cute even though it was probably gross and the last thing you needed was to scrub your floors! Moms know all to well about "the last thing I needed to have to do" crap! lolol..well this is getting long so I will go now....rememeber tommorow is another day.

It's official...I'm never potty training. I'll just drop the kid off at my moms for a week when she's three or something and come back to a perfectly trained kid...in all ways. That's my plan. kidding...kind of.

I LOVE the pic of Kyla feeding her baby. Sooooo cute!
