I think i'm going crazy. In the mornings when the girls wake up around 6am, I give them cereal, put on some shows and go back to bed since Laken isn't up till 9, there is no way i'm getting up. Anyways I have the hardest time getting back to sleep because my head is going crazy with what I need to get done! I have so much going on in the next 5 weeks.
Next Friday I am doing a joint birthday party for Kyla and Laken. Kyla wanted to have their party together really bad so I have to somehow tie in the special first birthday moments and Kyla's friends party. So I have party on my mind like crazy.
Then I want to do both their 1 year and 6 year pictures. So I have to find outfits/accessories/time on a nice day with no snow to do them etc...
A couple days after the party, it's Easter! I haven't got one thing for it yet...
Dustin has to get his passport done. I'm worried about mailing it that it won't be here in time or something will be filled out wrong and it will be mailed back to us. So I think he is going to make a day trip to Edmonton to get it done. I wish we would have know that the kids don't need passports to drive across the border or else we would have got his done with mine last month! Ya we are a little late on getting them done. I don't want to hear it.
We've been planning wedding/bridal shower stuff every day.
Getting the girls outfits ready for the wedding, they are going to be the flower girls so i'm making their hair accessories and they are going to be dang cute. Well they are cute in my head anyways.
Oh and right after the wedding we are heading to Taber for Dustin's younger brothers grad and i'm doing his and his date's/girlfriends photos. We are also getting family pics done, YAY!!! So I have to plan our outfits still too! Yes it's a big deal.
After this is all over i'll have to come back and start planning the twins birthday! I can't believe they are going to be 4 already. Insane!
So I decided to make the girls names this week! I got the paper in the mail that I ordered and I loved it! I got all three done within 24 hours. Go me. I did have a metal file, which I tell you is SO worth it to get one! Dustin got it at Rona and it is just a long, skinny metal file for construction or something... I don't know but it's awesome to file the edges of the letters.
A couple people on facebook asked me a couple questions so i'll answer them here again.
I ordered my paper from HERE. Super cute stuff. I listed a couple of my favorite brands in the tutorial HERE.
And I order my letters from HERE. The fonts of the twins is Cheri, and Kyla's is Chalk. Those are my two favorite fonts for girl names.
Oh and at the last minute I decided to make a 12" 'F' for our living room. I do have our whole last name but it's too much for our smaller house, so I just did the 'F' for now. I told Dustin the new colors i'm putting in our house. Teals, greys, and corals, and he's like "Oh nice, so do I get to like these?" I said, "Nope". So I made the 'F' in those colors so now he has no choice, I already started. ha
Here are the names I made. The twins matches their bedding perfectly, I love it. I should of put a picture of the bedding on. Meh, maybe later.
Kyla's bedding is pink and white damask, so I made hers pink and grey so I can throw grey into her decor.
These are all from my phone so they aren't the best pictures. Oh and Presley's second 'e' is just the paper because I couldn't fine the 'e' anywhere! I finally found it, but didn't take another picture. So that's just the paper sitting there...
Anyways, things have been great around here! I'm going to the Hunger Games this weekend with us and a few friends. I'm excited. I think I was more excited for Twilight though, i'm not gonna lie. But it'll be nice to get out and socialize! It's been a while with Dustin working a 24 right now. So i've been cleaning lots and planning even more!
I can't wait to have a house next year and go all out for the girls parties. I love planning parties!! LOVE it. Maybe a little obsessed. But for now we "try" to go simple... I said TRY.

iPhone moments
So for some odd reason, my memory card to my camera says it's corrupted and won't work. Awesome. So I couldn't take pictures for the past little while, so thank goodness for my phone! I felt so lost! I needed to take some pictures! I finally bought a new memory card yesterday, yay! We also registered the 3 older girls in outdoor soccer, i'm so beyond excited for them since I missed it last year and felt so sad about it.
The snow NEEDS to leave!! I want to do Kyla's and Laken's pictures outside before their birthdays but the way this is going, I won't be able too, and I already have cute outfits bought that aren't snow approved! Can you believe in two weeks Laken will be ONE!!?? I had a mom moment today realizing she isn't my little baby anymore along with some tears. It could also be PMS but whatever.
Laken's getting a new stroller for her birthday! Yay! Best parents ever right? Like she cares and we'll get her a toy or something on the side. It's this one. I have a sit and stand right now and it's too big and I don't need the "sit" spot anymore and just want something lighter and better for summer for ONE baby. Weird. I do miss my train double stroller. ha nope, nevermind, that was a lie. I do NOT miss that huge heavy solid metal thing. Although I did cry when we sold it. Lots of memories came with it so I had a hard time letting it go.
Anyways enough of me, sometimes I could write forever...
Here are some iphone pics of the past week or so!

Laken gets a lot of attention from her older sisters. She loves it.
Dustin sent me this picture when I was in Portland. I can't stop laughing every time I see it.
Everything goes in the mouth. Even Dora. I'm the awesome mom who takes a picture before removing the choking hazard from the baby's mouth. I couldn't get over the feet hanging out. So funny.
Kyla had wacky hair day! I loved it. I used this color bug hair color, by Kevin Murphy. It's awesome and she loved it! We were going for the new Lola Loopsy doll look she wanted, with a twist!
Laken found this random soother and knew exactly what it did! She was not a soother baby!
My almost 6 year old ready for a birthday party. Love her.
This is her new smile. Cracks me up every time.
My parents went through some old pics. This me who know when. I've never seen this pic before, so hot. Especially my lipstick. ha!
Check out little miss's new tooth! She is also getting all 4 in and one more on the bottom, they are all coming!
And that's all for now.
Dustin just got home with my Boston Pizza tai bites, delicious. I'm going to eat and sweat because I hate spicy but they are so good, I suffer through it. It's worth it.
Later!

Oregon!!
I'm back! I actually made it there and back on a plane! Going there was smooth and easy, on the way back not so much. Our plane was delayed 2 hours because it had to turn back around to Vancouver for maintenance and then we had to wait for it! So because of that I missed my connection in Vancouver to Edmonton. So I had to call Air Canada and rebook it, so I had one scheduled but had to have one more layover in Calgary before Edmonton. I was fine with that. I got to Vancouver and they told me I couldn't get on the plane because I already missed it. (It was half hour to take off and I still had to check my bags) Ugh, so I had to get re-booked AGAIN. So she booked me on a flight that was leaving only 20 minutes from the last one, so I had to run from one end of the airport to the other to get to it. I get there and it was delayed! ha. Well at least I made it. I'm not going to lie I was a little overwhelmed because it was my second time flying and wasn't sure what I was even doing! But it all worked out and I actually made it home earlier without the Calgary layover, so that was nice.
Oregon was SO much fun!! I LOVED LOVED spending time with my 2 sisters! I got to meet Stephanie's fiance, Kevin. I gave them the approval to get married. I told her at Christmas (before we found out he already proposed) that he had to ask my permission to marry her... So that was too late, hence me not being impressed at first. ha. But he is great and I can tell he really loves her and will take care of her. I also got to know him pretty good because I took their engagement photos and he was so awesome and so cooperative and so natural with her! I can't believe it took me so long to get into engagements! I LOVED it. If I could do engagements for the rest of my career i'd be happy. I think i'm going to try and get into weddings eventually, I think it would be something i'd love!
Anyways, we had a ton of girl time which I SO needed! Did the whole shopping thing, girls night out for dinner and then another girls night for Bachelor finale! It was awesome. The best part is how many people asked us if we were sisters and then triplets! Ha. No. I don't think we look anything alike! Someone even thought Kristy was Steph's mom! ha!
When I first got there, I didn't know what to do! I felt useless and lost! I didn't have kids to tend too, messes to clean up, meals to make etc. I got used to it pretty fast though. Who wouldn't!?
Dustin did AMAZING. He never complained once! Not even before I left. He was dad of the year. He made forts with the girls. Read them the book green eggs and ham then actually made green eggs and ham!! He also even baked cookies with them!! Seriously, I was amazed. I'm so glad they used up every minute to spend time together because it doesn't happen very often without me around. Laken was even taking a couple steps!! It's crazy. She is not allowed to grow up this fast.
I had so much fun and loved spending so much time with my sisters!! I wish Britt could have been there so bad! I hate how far away we all live from each other! It should not be allowed. I can't wait to do it again!! Love you girls and miss you like CRAZY!!
Oh I guess i'll leave you with a couple engagement pictures! I'm only allowed to post a few and not her favorites for the invites. They were all so good I had a hard time choosing which few to post!

Bored
This week has been BORING! We didn't leave the house and haven't done anything exciting. You might say, "Well then leave the house Mindy!"
Um, no. I'd rather stay home and be bored to be honest. I love to stay home in my sweats and not have to worry about getting everyone dressed and out the door in the winter. So we stay home. Ya i'm a good mom like that. But honestly, if they are happy at home it makes them appreciate life without having to go and do something every day. They are pretty happy too and play together all the time. It's great. I can't wait until it's warmer and the snow is gone though! We will be outside EVERYDAY this summer. No jackets and the girls can throw on their own flip flops and no carseat to haul out either because she'll be out of it! Pure heaven.
I was walking into my house from the van the other day carrying the carseat AND holding the twins hands and Kyla walking beside me and a lady actually stopped and pulled over to say, "You have your hands full!" ha. I thought about how crazy I must look and it's true, my hands are VERY full. Obviously I get that a lot.
Dustin and I were looking at an old album on facebook when the twins were 15 months old and we went to Penticton for summer holidays. Camping. In a tent. Were we crazy?! We got a good laugh out of remembering how much work it was back then and it stressed me out just thinking about what our life was like when the twins were that little. It's funny how you don't realize what you actually go through or how much work it actually is until you look back on it.
Speaking of, Laken is at the stage where she follows me everywhere and climbs up on my legs. It brings back nightmares of when the twins were this age. Ugh, that was brutal.
So there is something i've been meaning to blog about.
Remember when I had hyperthyroidism (overactive Thyroid) after having the twins? They were about 8 months old when I found out and I was really skinny. Like under 100lbs skinny. So I went on meds for that. Well right before I found out I was pregnant with Laken, I started gaining a few pounds. Which for me is not normal so I got my blood done again and this time I had Hypothyroidism (UNDERactive thyroid). Ugh. I wasn't too concerned because you can go on meds etc. BUT majority of the time you are like this for the rest of your life and there isn't a cure for it. I thought I was too young to have to already be on meds for the rest of my life for something. It kind of sucked. So when I got pregnant with Laken I actually got it into my head that this pregnancy WILL put my thyroid back to normal. They told me sometimes pregnancy can throw your thyroid off and that's probably why it was like that after having the twins. So after I had Laken, I went off my pills. I didn't even think about it, I just knew I would be back to normal. I had no doubts. Seriously. So just after Christmas I went for some blood work on my thyroid to get it checked. Obviously i'm not regular with my blood work like I should be, oops, but I felt fine and if something is off when it comes to my thyroid I can tell. So my blood work came back and it was NORMAL! I honestly wasn't that shocked, it's like I knew! I am so relieved and happy I don't have to be on pills anymore. It's the craziest thing but it's awesome. YAY!
So our days have been pretty boring this week. Usually I look forward to my nightly shows and even they are boring. ie: BACHELOR. What the. I think I fast forwarded pretty much the whole show. It was so slow and Ben is SO boring. I am excited for Emily's season of the Bachelorette though!
Anyways, so because we are home a lot lately I turn off the tv during the day and listen to the radio. We get Edmonton's station on our PVR so it has all the hits and the girls know all the songs, it's hilarious. We dance a lot and the girls just stare at me when I dance, they must be in awe of how awesome I am.
Anyways, here are a few daily pics. I've been trying to pull out my camera more instead of just using my cell. Iphones are so convenient!
Getting my make up done.

Kyla giving everyone makeovers
Laken standing on everything she can, she even lets go for a few seconds!
The twins always think Laken is attacking them. This picture is my favorite. ha
Getting my make up done.
Picture taken by Kyla, which I love.
So i'm leaving next Friday to Portland! On a plane. By myself! I'm SO excited! I've never been on a plane, except the air ambulance but I was drugged and pretty much passed out so that doesn't count. So i'm nervous but can't wait to have some ME time, with no kids and no husband. I read it's healthy to get away from your spouse... baha. Love you Dust!
I'm taking Steph's engagement photos which I am super excited for because i've never done engagements before. It'll be so fun. Plus a TON of sister time!! I am counting down the days!!
