I don't want to complain but I need a break and I am so excited to leave this weekend. We are going to Cardston to see the family and oh right Brittany is getting married!! My goodness she is NOT old enough, she is still my little Britt I guess she did just graduate, and it is gonna be so weird to see her married. I love her and she will make a great wife and someday (hopefully later than sooner) a mom. We leave on Saturday and are going to stay in Okotoks at Riley and Anona's for the night, then Sunday we are finishing some desperately needed shopping in Calgary. We have Kyla done and that is it! Thanks to the lack of shopping up here and me not being able to haul 3 kids around in the freezing cold I don't get anything done without Dustin's help. I keep telling myself, no you can do it, don't be such a wimp. But honestly 3 trips to the car just to get the kids into the vehicle is a lot. Then in and out of every store with a double stroller that feels like a train when I drive it and I seem to run into everything cuz I just can't steer. Thank goodness for my amazing visiting teachers who came today and could clearly see how run down I am. She is going to come and give me a pedicure tomorrow and watch the kids for a couple hours so I can go do some running around. I haven't even got Kyla a dress for the wedding and I reallly am to the point where I don't care what the babies wear. Maybe i'll find something decent in Calgary for them. Anyways I was up and gonna get ready today but I felt discusting and just worn. I got my hair done last night and it didn't quite turn out how I hoped. I went in wanting some brown lowlights and came out with black hair. So everytime I look in the mirror I cry. I feel bad cuz I do love my hairdresser but i've been quite upset about it. As you all know I am very close with my hair especially before family pictures and a wedding! Thankfully it's hopefully gonna get fixed tomorrow. Perfect timing for the wedding i'll say. Just pray for me. But trust me i've been stressed enough about that alone! Then Dustin called and he has to work late tonight and tomorrow....like midnight late. And he already came home at 1am this week. I don't not want him to work cuz we are going on holidays so he is making up for that time, but getting ready for this holiday is a lot by myself. I'm tired.
I'm so excited to see all the family. I wish it could be more relaxed but someone decided to go and make it a Christmas wedding! ;) Last time we were there it was rushed too, so I hope we can have some fun time in all of the chaos. We will be back Sunday the 21st and then the 23rd Dustin's family comes and will stay at our house untl boxing day. We are having Christmas at Jill's this year. Which wasn't the best year for her to decide to host it. She is due with a baby in 4 weeks and has been in the hospital already with contractions. So pretty much she'll just be providing the house and we'll do everything else. Who knows we might have another baby this Christmas! Well I think that's all I want to write about cuz the more I write the more miserable I sound, sorry. I thought i'd just write something for now until we get back and I actually have something exciting to post about. Here are some pics of the girls this week.

Some Nifty Stuff!
So I realize this is twice in one day and 4 times this week...i think. But I guess I have so many important things to tell you all about! Well I guess I think they're important. I really am busy, I'm just quick at posting I guess. I found this site called thelandofnod.com why I have not heard of it before I don't know, but it's awesome! You may have heard of it but if I find out you knew and you didn't tell me, well....i'll forgive you and who cares cuz I never would of bought anything anyways! If I were with the latest trends in baby stuff this is where I would go. Here are only a few of some cool things I found there.
Now I have seen this chair before but I love it and want one....I mean two, it's $299.00 so thats $600.00 for me! Just pocket change...meh Oh it comes in like a zillion colors and so it can match your table! cute eh? It's a Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair. Stokke has some cool stuff on their site, go look at that one too.
Here's another funky looking one, I like it too but probably will never buy it. I'm gonna buy the other one instead! ;) you'll see! This one is $259.00 so good thing I chose the other one eh? ha
Check out these spoons! who invented these?? I don't know if they are awesome or someone is really lazy and made things way more difficult. I think it would be fun to try though...hint hint Christmas is coming! Anyone??? I would prefer the high chairs but ok i'll take a spoon instead...oh ya I need two by the way. Anyways they have the food in them and you squeeze it out onto the spoon part! ha what some people think of eh! oh these spoons are $7.99 each
And this is just a cool looking bouncer it's on sale for $99.00 so not too bad, they have a few neat ones. But ya go check out the site if you haven't seen it. I love it! Oh if I were rich. Ok I thought about that. I guess if I were rich I would probably buy the cool stuff and then find cooler stuff and wish I'd of boughten that instead...i'm a very indecisive person ya know. I'm glad I helped waste time for ya! It was worth it wasn't it!

a little something cute...and no it's not a picture of my kids, that's what I thought too!
I get a weekly email from babycenter.ca about how the babies "should" be progressing and it's fun, but they sent this to me today and I thought it'd be cute to share!
How to babyproof:
• Throw away the pennies. Just throw them away.
• What are those things anyway, the ones under the sink? They look dangerous, but you don't even recognize them. Oh! They seem to be "cleaning products"! Get rid of them.
• Use duct tape to attach bubble wrap to bathtub faucet, coffee-table edges, tile floor, and dog's teeth.
• Use duct tape to attach bubble wrap to baby!

I need help
Ok so I have been so blessed with how great Kyla caught onto potty training and not having one accident....but I have mentioned this before she won't poop! I'm gonna call it #2 cuz we used to call it the when we were kids and it's funny! Kyla has always had issues with the #2, she hides! Everywhere! Under tables, blankets, in cupboards, behind couches, upstairs, etc. the list goes on. She also has had some constipation problems, she gets constipated really easily so I have to limit her dairy and give her lots of fruit etc. Anyways so she has been potty trained for over a month now and when she has to go #2 she has a hard time getting it out so it's like nothing but enough that I have to clean up a mess! And then a few hours later she does it again! Anyways I am needing some pointers on how to get her to poop in the potty! Help me cuz I am sick of cleaning poopy panties!!!!

How cute are they!
Here is my little munchkins under the tree today, I love their new outfits and most of all...the tights! Love em! They always look so cute on Sundays and I never get the chance to take pictures cuz we are always running around trying to get ready so we aren't late. Even though we always are and our church is at 1:00! I can't imagine when it changes to 9:00. Should be fun! But anyways back to my cuteness....oh Presley is on the right and Jayci's on the left

Catch up
So I normally blog sooner than this but honestly nothing exciting has happened recently. We just got back from Edmonton for the weekend and spent way to much money! But it was all needed stuff. That's one thing i'm not a fan of Fort Mcmurray for, it's lack of shopping! I need the mall, or just old navy....no actually everything. What we do have up here is minimal too. This city is bigger than Lethbridge and yet there is not very many stores they have like walmart, and all those main stores but they are always out of everything and we do have a mall but no kids stores only please mum and it's not cute enough for how expensive it is...anyways I do miss my shopping. So we bought another crib finally. I just can't spend $300 on another crib (not that we did before, we lucked out on Kyla's crib, brand new for $100 from our landlords in Calgary and it's a really cute Storkcraft one) anyways and I can't find a cheap used one, so we found a nice dark wood one at walmart for not too bad of price. We also got a bumbo finally and a playmat for the babies. These are things I can't find up here. We also did our Christmas shopping for Kyla and lots of clothes shopping for everyone! We needed to makeover our wardrobes for winter and I found some cute stuff for the kids and a few things for us. Well thats about it, here are some pictures to enjoy of our cute kids!
This is Jayci in the bumbo, so happy!!
At west ed waterpark, this was the first time they have sat up like this in the stroller and they loved it! In the hot tub with Riley and Anona, they met up with us in Edmonton and spent the weekend with us. We miss them and it was nice to see them again. Oh the babies are just over the ledge in the stroller, haha

oh it's great to be a mom!!
Ok I have to share this story. I have been debating to blog about it but lately I have been going insane. Have I had it too easy and now I am being challenged?? Well last week I had a screaming hungry baby so I picked her up and fed her on the couch. Well Kyla told me she had to pee, and it was only a week into her potty training. So I told her to run in and she knows what to do, she never has done it by herself so I was crossing my fingers she would get it. So I can see the bathroom from sitting on the couch so I just talked her through it and really she didn't even need my help. Until it came to wiping so still feeding the baby I went into the bathroom and wiped her and helped her get her pants back on. Well since I was feeding I didn't empty her potty yet, I figured I'd do it after I finished feeding the baby....Well here's the best part of the story! Before Kyla was potty trained she would use her potty as a stool all over the house and she would carry it anywhere she wanted to see. So...I looked up and what was she doing?? Picking up her potty, but it was tipped towards her as she was holding it and she came walking into the livingroom with it, and a pee trail following her!!! She was dumping pee everywhere!!! I screamed," KYLA!! STOP!!! put it down!! ughhh!!!! gross!" Pee was everywhere, on the floor and my carpet. great eh! Well I just finished feeding the baby and now I had to scrub my carpet. Ya sick. So that was a fun time. Then just now, in the middle of writing this stupid post I noticed Kyla pooping but in her panties. She has had a hard time pooping in the potty so I really didn't care cuz I have had a hard day and didn't want to fight with her to go on the potty. Well I just walked into the bathroom and she took the poop herself and put it into the potty with her hands!!!! She was flushing it herself! What a big girl eh!!!!!!!! oh my goodness. I know this post is umm well, gross but I just had to share about my wonderful child I have. Today has been a great day and I needed to vent even if it's just to write about anything. I love blogging, it's kind of like a journal and I mostly do it for myself but i'm glad to hear people are reading about my awesomly wonderful life!!!! I really do love it but it's just so funny sometimes, oh it's great to be a mom!!

Sleepy Babes
I have found my girls just randomly sleeping in places this past week. Kyla has been waking up early a lot and so she is exhausted and just falls asleep wherever she is. I also found Jayci sleeping in the Jolly Jumper while I was on the phone. I love when they are sleeping, maybe it's cuz they are quiet! ha no cuz they are so cute sleeping.
And here is some random fun ones. Kyla and her potty training. Which was more than successful, she has had no accidents in two weeks! Lucky me eh? Oh ya she walks around with these headbands on, she puts them on herself obviously. Super cute eh??
Her potty chart all filled up, she is very proud of it can you tell?

Help Baby Mia
This is so sad. I saw it on Taryn's blog and I hate hearing stories like this especially having kids of my own. I've had enough challenges with hospitals and I can't imagine going through this with my girls. Click on the sidebar link about the quilt to win. I do love this quilt, but that's not why I posted this, so help if you can or just help spread the word.

Halloween!
So this year was crazy! I don't think i've had a crazier day before by myself. Dustin had to work "part" day but ended up being afull day which I knew in the first place. My day started of with icing cookies. I forgot to get icing sugar the day before when I made them so I did them the morning of Halloween. Kyla watched and it took forever, I love to decorate but that morning I really didn't have time. Well then I had to shower and get ready. I was a cowgirl so it didn't take long to get myself ready. By then my kitchen was a mess from the cookies cuz I still had to cook a batch. (sp?) Well then my mom phoned and wanted everyones names in all 3 wards in Okotoks just incase they forgot someone for wedding invitations, so I had to read 3 wards off to her over the phone. Then I had to do Kyla's hair, she was a witch so I wanted to 3 barrel it with lots of hairspray to make it all stringy like. Anyways that took forever cuz I wanted it to hold all night so it took a while. Oh also I was doing laundry so I could have some clean warm clothes for all the kids. Well then I had to do Kyla's makeup, and get her dressed. By this time the babies were getting fussy. And then I also forgot to get a veggie platter for dinner at Jills so I was hoping to get to the store before we went over at 4:30. Ya that didn't work out to well. So Kyla was ready and I took some pictures of her in her costume cuz I knew I wouldn't have time later. Well then I had to run around and get all the warm clothes together and everything ready for trick or treating. I don't kno if this makes any sense and it's kind of everywhere, but that is how my day was! So both babies were getting hungry so I was feeding one and Kyla had to pee, well she had to do it all by herself and she did! luckily! Anyways I felt like I was running my face off this day. I still had to put the cookies on a platter, finish my hair, get dressed, get the babies dressed, load them in the carseats, load the diaper bag, and load the van with everything...including the kids. Well then we got to Jill's and all was good. The night was so fun and Kyla did so good trick or treating. We...I mean Kyla got lots of treats. ;) I love Halloween and I never knew how much work it was gonna be getting 3 kids ready. I'm sure I forgot the odd crazy thing that happened that day but it's all a blur! I can't wait until next year! So here is my cute little witch who loves to pose, she poses, I click and she comes and sees what it looks like and then grins and laughs cuz she thinks she is so cute. She loves to look at herself and is all aww i'm so cute, ha shes so funny. Actually funny story (as always) I was talking to Kristy on the phone and we finally got a webcam cuz it's built into our new laptop and so I went on it with Kristy, well I had to run and get the phone so I was in the kitchen and Kyla was infront of the computer, it was on the couch and she could see herself. Well when I came back, Kristy told me she was dancing and smiling at herself the whole time and she didn't know Kristy could see her, she was laughing the whole time at how much Kyla was into herself! You think I tell her she is cute enough, she knows it!
Well that was our fun Halloween! I really did enjoy it no matter how insane and chaotic my day was, this is my life and it's only gonna get crazier!!
Here is my two munchkins! They were butterflies and I didn't get very many pictures cuz everyone was already out the door and I was still getting them dressed, so I was able to snap a couple.
Trick or treating with cousin Emma.
This freaky costume a guy was wearing and sat on the bench outside his front door and scared everyone. Dustin loved it, he wants to be him so bad, can you tell?? haha I love him. All the kids were terrified of it.
Well that was our fun Halloween! I really did enjoy it no matter how insane and chaotic my day was, this is my life and it's only gonna get crazier!!

ABC's of twins (and a toddler)
I thought it would be a fun idea to come up with the ABC'S of twins (and a toddler) I'm sure this list is the same with one, two or 5 babies! Of course altered a bit. I can feel my life getting crazier everyday as the babies get bigger and are wanting more attention. I don't like to sound like my life is terrible cuz it's not, I feel like i'm just like every other mom out there. I don't think I have more of a challenge than any of you. We are given what we can handle no matter how many kids at any age.
If you have any to add, please tell me, i'd love to hear them!
If you have any to add, please tell me, i'd love to hear them!
A-attitude, your attitude is everything and I truly believe it rubs off on your kids. They can tell if you are having a bad day or a good day and if you are happy they will be too!
B- Baths, Bottle/Breastfeeding. Two things that take up a good portion of time, I think of this a Bonding time (another B word!)
C- cleaning, wait what? what does that mean? I hate living in a messy house. I don't think i'm anal about having the house clean it's just living in the mess that I hate. If that makes sense. Especially being home all day and we don't have the biggest house. I'm glad that when I get in the cleaning mood I clean like crazy so it's over and done with. But when my house is messy it can change my entire mood so I like to take the time to clean it if it's needed...when I get time ;)
D- diapers...I don't even think about it, I just do it
E- energy, whether you have it or not you need it
F- finances, kids definately change the way you look at money. I find it a huge help to sit down and do a monthly budget of what's coming and going
G- girls! we have a tendancy to make girls! I love having 3 girls, i have 3 sisters and so I know what it's like to have all girls and I loved it. I can't wait until they are all older and can be best friends (and somedays enemies when they want to borrow a shirt and the other one says no haha) poor Dustin ;)
H- help, when someone offers help, take it! I should take my own advice. I have a hard time accepting help cuz it's another way for saying, "I can't do this!" and everyone else obviously has their own life and own resposibilities to worry about. Especially when I don't have any family around to depend on for stuff. So I am really grateful for the people who help without even asking cuz I am one of those people who doesn't like accepting it.
I- illness, we all know how hard it is to have sick kids especially when they are in the hospital. Kyla had croup at 10 months old, Presley had Meningitis and both babies were in the hospital for 3 weeks after being born, they weren't sick but it was close enough. Even when they get a small cold it's hard to see them not feeling 100% Somehow I wish I could take it all in myself so they won't have to go through it.
J- joy, the great joy of children! how cheesy eh? this is all I could think of for J any better ideas??
K- kisses, lots of kisses!! My sister understands me when I say I sometimes want to just make out with them! ha, that sounds bad but when you kiss their little cheeks over and over you just want to smush your face in theirs! I can't get enough kisses!
L- laugh, don't forget to laugh. Try to look at the funny side of things and it will make life a whole lot happier.
M- mistakes, we are all going to make mistakes when it comes to our parenting. You have to give yourself permission to make mistakes. We are always gonna look back and wish we had done something differently but we do the best we can. We need to tell ourselves, 'Today, I will do the best I can with what I have at this time.'
N- no expectations, I came into this with no expectations. That way it will always be better than I thought. Everyday is different when it comes to parenting and children so just take it as it comes and you won't be dissapointed when something doesn't go as planned
O- organization, as some of you have noticed I like to be organized. I make lists and charts and reminder notes and I like to have a schedule. I set up everything I need downstairs and upstairs so I don't have to run up and down the stairs all the time. (although the exercise couldn't hurt) But I feel much better when things are organized.
P- patience...enough said!
Q- quiet, this is a rare thing but I try to get some quiet time while the babies are napping. Turn off the TV and enjoy! Even if I am cleaning or doing laundry, at least the house is quiet. If Kyla stays quiet herself long enough to keep the babies asleep...
R- rest, sometimes I just sit on the couch (for a very short amount of time, maybe 5 minutes if i'm lucky) and do nothing. It keeps me sane when I take a small breather. ha I make it sound like I have a chaos life, it's not that bad.
S- schedule, I said this one before kind of but I am big on this one.
T- two, obviously...two of everything!!
U- unconditional love
V- voices, the little noises I hear from all my girls is the best sounds I hear. Even if it's an "I love you mom" from Kyla, or a giggle from the babies it makes all my stresses and worries go away and it just makes everything right.
W- wife, sometimes I think this comes second to mom and maybe it's supposed to but I sure am blessed to be a wife to such an amazing man. We have the best marriage and have gotten through so much together and we talk about everything. I think communication is the key to having a great marriage. Dustin is honestly the best man I could of married, we are perfect for eachother. I love him ya ya mushy mushy stuff but you're just jealous! ;)
X- what in the world starts with X?? other than x-ray and xylaphone, ha
Y- young, i am 23 and have 3 kids. I didn't ever think I'd have this many kids at this age. You should see the looks I get when I go to the grocery store, I can just imagine what people are thinking. I don't care though, how many people can say they feel like their life is right at 23. I sure can, we might have more kids but for now we sure are happy with what we got! Age doesn't matter to me!
And now for another story of Kyla. Well this week is potty training week and she hasn't has any accidents in 3 days. (cross you fingers) Well today she went potty all by herself again and I of course praised her with "yay's" and "good girls", well in the midst of my "mom freaking out moment" Kyla goes "Mom, no! Don't be silly, lets wash hands now" What a terd eh.

Carving Pumpkins and more
Well I couldn't decide whether to vent about how bad my day was yesterday or just get over it and tell you about our better night. I'm not one to dwell on a bad day cuz it does no good and every day is different. I like to take it one day at a time, so i'll just forget it and move on! Now for our night, we finally got to carve the pumpkins. I bought white ones this year cuz I always thought they were cute.
So we convinced Kyla to clean out the pumpkin with her hands and she hated it, she was like ah eww and started wiping her hand on her shirt and chair to try and get it off. She doesn't like to be dirty. What a girl eh?
Cleaning it with a spoon, she liked that idea better. Here is mine and Kyla's pumpkin, I did one but it wasn't done until later cuz I had to do hers and then feed the babies etc...bla bla bla To get Kyla to smile normal for a picture is like pulling teeth! It's either a cheesy fake smile or something like this! But we get some cute ones in the mean time I guess!
Told ya!
Dustin and his Friday the 13th pumpkin ha
Kyla loves the girls, she always wants to hold them, lay by them on the floor or play with them. She is so smart and loves to help me with them all the time. Funniest thing, we got invited over to Jill and Travis's house on Sunday night to have cake and hang out anyways Kyla was laying in Jill's room in the bed watching Dora on their TV, well I went in and sat on the bed by her to feed the baby, the door was open so I still was covered with a blanket. Well Kyla leans over and says, "Who is that little weiner....Presley??" ha I laughed so hard, can you tell what Dustin calls them sometimes??? Great huh. Oh and she has also caught on to "shut up" (she just mumbles that one to herself) and "Oh my Gosh!" She also tells the babies when they are crying, "i'm coming baby, hang on i'll be right there" and then she'll go to them and pat their tummy and say "what's the matter baby its ok, why so sad?" funny girl, I could go on for hours about her and one post I will. This is all Jayci, I guess Presley got neglected this day. She was probably sleeping in the swing for hours on end, they love that thing and if their happy I don't care how long they are in it! Don't judge me! ha
